Dual Degree

Dual Degree Program with the Portugal Catholic University

A new, dual degree master program is about to launch at Pázmány Péter Catholic University. The Lisbon-based Portugal Catholic University and the Budapest-based Pázmány Péter Catholic University signed a protocol in 2014, in which both institutions agreed on the establishment of a Dual Degree MA in International Studies and Governance, Leadership and Democracy Studies. Within the two-year program, Hungarian students will attend the first year at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (International Studies MA) and will continue their second year at the Catholic University of Portugal (MA in Governance, Leadership and Democracy Studies).

This programme is designed for students who are interested in the tradition, history, politics, and culture of several countries and for those who are eager to get to know more about the recent challenges of the European Union from the perspective of a country that has been forming part of the European integration for almost three decades. In today’s multicultural world, an academic year spent abroad can be a huge advantage both language- and career-wise.
