Hong Kong and Hungary – Dialogue of the Next Generations October 11, 2017

On October 6, 21 representatives from Hong Kong Young Leaders Development Association (HKYLDA) have arrived to PPCU to enhance the understanding of Hungary among and to foster greater friendship between the two countries.

The group of university students and graduate young leaders were welcomed by the masters students from East Asian studies PPCU-BCE. The event was opened by Alison Lo from Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Berlin, followed by Alex Fan, the funding president of HKYLDA.

Dóra Günsberger researcher from Modern East Asia Group PPCU, has organised a little challenge for the guests to introduce them to the Hungarian capital's landmarks now and then.
The game also gave a great opportunity to the particpants to get to know one another.
During the visit, the delegation met with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Hungary, Mr Duan Jielong, and the Mayor's Office of Budapest to learn more about recent developments in Budapest and Chinese-Hungarian relations.
