Kálmán Pócza (Budapest, Hungary, 1976) obtained his degree in History and German literature at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPCU). He studied at the University of Tübingen, University of Düsseldorf and University of Fribourg (Switzerland). He was granted research scholarships of the Katholische Akademische Ausländer-Dienst (KAAD) and the Hanns Seidel Stiftung. He was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Notre Dame and he has been a Research Fellow of the Danube Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (Andrássy University Budapest). Kálmán Pócza holds a PhD in Political Science from Andrássy University Budapest. His PhD thesis was on the idea of political representation and parliamentarism in Germany in the inter-war period. He is member of the Hungarian Political Science Association and the Editorial Board of the Journal Századvég. His research interest lies on political representation, parliamentarism, constitutionalism and historiography.
