2025.02.20.

On February 18, 2025, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Pázmány Péter Catholic University held a meeting with representatives from the Milton Friedman University and its Faculty of Theology, Ashkenazium Budapest, and Bar-Ilan University in Israel.

The main objective of the meeting was to explore future collaboration opportunities, particularly in projects that deepen the understanding of shared cultural foundations.

Prominent participants included Professor Michael Chighel, Dean of Ashkenazium Budapest, Professor Peter Trawny, an internationally recognized Heidegger scholar, and faculty and researchers from Bar-Ilan University.

The event opens new perspectives for Pázmány's Faculty of Humanities and its partners in the international academic arena, highlighting the importance of religious studies and philosophical research, as well as the exploration of shared cultural values. As a result of the discussions, all three institutions are looking forward to the future with concrete plans, with more details to be expected in the coming period.

The collaboration between different denominations, academic fields, and countries not only is possible but also promises a bright future for all participating institutions.
