Partnerships and interdisciplinarity are at the heart of Pázmány Péter Catholic University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences 

A three-member delegation of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, led by Prof. Dr. Nándor Birher, Professor and Dean, participated—upon invitation from the University of Freiburg — in a scientific conference held in Freiburg from 12–14 November 2025.

The Institute of English and American Studies of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, in co-operation with the School of English and American Studies of Eötvös Loránd University as well as the Institute of English Studies of Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in Hungary organized a successful international event titled Symbols and Identities in Canada on 27 and 28 November 2025. 

Dr. Gergely Fejérdy, lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University and Deputy Director of the Otto von Habsburg Foundation, received the Knight’s Cross of the Order of the Crown of Belgium on September 12.
