From 29 June to 3 July, students and lecturers from four Central European universities jointly explored the cultural memory and heritage of the Habsburg Monarchy at an international summer university hosted by Pázmány’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

This summer, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University hosted an international university programme led by Dr Zsolt Almási, co-head of the Faculty’s Artificial Intelligence and the Human Research Group. 

From 6 to 10 July, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University hosted an international summer university. Supported by the Erasmus Programme, the course focused on understanding, processing and healing war trauma. 

Nearly 150 scholars from Japan to Brazil gathered at Pázmány Péter Catholic University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences from July 6-11, 2026, for the annual conference of the International Association for the Study of Irish Literatures (IASIL), one of the world's leading organizations dedicated to Irish literary studies.

Leaders from the University of Jordan visited Pázmány BTK to discuss opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration.

On June 26th, a delegation from the Guangdong University of Finance in China, led by University President Yi Xingjian, visited the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (BTK) at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (PPKE).

Dr. Rafał Solecki, Vice-Dean of Student Affairs at Warsaw's Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University, visited Pázmány BTK to discuss expanding joint research and encouraging student and staff exchange between the two institutions.
