Nearly 150 scholars from Japan to Brazil gathered at Pázmány Péter Catholic University’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences from July 6-11, 2026, for the annual conference of the International Association for the Study of Irish Literatures (IASIL), one of the world's leading organizations dedicated to Irish literary studies.

Students of the Institute of International and Political Studies took part in a study trip to the Holy See. The aim of the four-day professional programme was to introduce students to the functioning of the institutions of the Holy See and to the distinctive perspectives of religious diplomacy.
