The XV General Conference of the International Association of Armenian Studies (AIEA)

This year, the Martin Luther University in Halle/Wittenberg (Germany) is organizing the conference of the International Association of Armenian Studies (AIEA), which is the highest international professional organization in the field.

The previous conference was held at the University of Oxford in 2017. AIEA membership is made up of professors and researchers of Armenian Studies from universities around the world. Dr Bálint Kovács, Head of the Department of Armenian Studies, is a member of the organising committee of this year's conference, while Dr. Karen Jallatyan, Gulbenkian Postdoctoral fellow at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University, and Zoltán Gerály, a Ph.D. student, will also give presentations at this international scientific event.
