He completed his university studies at the University of Szeged in archaeology, Hungarian prehistory, and optional Latin language programs. He also obtained his PhD in history at the same institution. In 2024, he habilitated in the field of archaeology at the Doctoral School of History at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
His research focuses on the Barbaricum of the Roman Imperial period, the history and archaeology of the Huns and Germanic peoples, the archaeology of the Early Avar period, and the history of weaponry during the Migration Period. He has previously participated in numerous Hungarian research projects (OTKA, TKP), and currently supervises several PhD students.
