He completed his university education at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, where he graduated in archaeology and history and earned his doctorate. Through various international research projects, he has worked as an archaeologist at Babeș-Bolyai University, the Mureș County Museum in Târgu Mureș, and the BTM Aquincum Museum.
His research interests include Roman provincial archaeology, material culture, bone carving, Roman frontier defense, the archaeology of Dacia and Pannonia, and the Roman eastern population in Pannonia.
He has participated as a researcher and archaeologist in several international excavations, including those in Budapest and Pilismarót, as well as national excavations in Romania, Albania, Austria, and Lebanon.
