During the visit, it was mentioned that the existing and still ongoing cooperation also brought good results in the OTDK competition. We hope that this relationship will continue to be as successful.
On behalf of our faculty, three of our students from Armenia also won prizes in the 36th OTDK Human Sciences Section:
Lilit Saghatelyan (supervised by Bálint Kovács) won third place in the universal history section after 1945 with her thesis "Historical citizenship in the Soviet border region: The Armenians of Nachichevan", while Inessa Arustamyan (supervised by Bálint Kovács) won a special prize in the History of Language, onomatopoeia and Uralic linguistics in the section entitled "The colloquial language of the Transylvanian Armenians (18-19th century)", and Marianna Manasyan (supervised by Karen Jallatyan) also won a special prize in the Visual Culture section with her essay "Images/Perceptions of Armenia in Diaspora Armenian Films".
We congratulate the students and their preparatory teachers on the results achieved!
