On April 24, Armenians worldwide commemorate the victims of the genocide committed against Armenians in the Ottoman Empire in 1915. On April 22, in Budapest, at the ceremonial hall of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Michael Hesemann, a German historian and recipient of the Stephanus Prize, delivered a highly anticipated lecture titled The Vatican and the Armenian Genocide.
