The GWZO Institute of Leipzig publishes a book series of its own with Bálint Kovács as co-editor, at the Böhlau publishing house, entitled "Armenier im östlischen Europa – Armenians in Eastern Europe"

Prof Szabolcs Szuromi, Rector of PPCU signed an agreement of cooperation involving both research and education in the field of Humanities with UCLA on January 11th, 2019 in Los Angeles.

On May 20, 2017, Dr. Bálint Kovács, Head of the Armenian Department of PPCU, received a high-level recognition from the Armenian Ministry of Culture in Yerevan.

Educational and academic cooperation

Dr. Ruben Mirzakhian, president of Armenian State Pedagogical University received an honorary doctorate certificate from PPCU president Dr. Szabolcs Szuromi on March 10 in Yerevan.

The new organizational unit providing Armenian Studies education and research was inaugurated on October 21 in Piliscsaba, in the presence of the delegation from Yerevan State Pedagogical University, who were in Hungary between October 20 and 25 at the invitation of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
