(For International Students)

 I. Training Objectives

The major mainly trains the international students' commercial quality, humanistic quality and innovation capacity in order to make them equipped with strong Internet thinking and intercultural communication competence. Thus, they can not only master the theory, practice and relevant professional knowledge of Cross-border E-commerce, but also expertly use modern information technology in business and play an active part in all kinds of competitions and challenges of global knowledge work. The final aim is to cultivate innovative professionals for international business who has dreams, passions, social responsibility and international perspective.

II. Training Standards

The major will completely train talents with international standards. At the same time, according to Chinese characteristics, we will emphasize internationalization, application and case teaching method. The students will mainly study International Marketing, Internet Marketing, Cross-border Commerce, Data Analysis and other courses, which has the ability of theoretical analysis and practical operation. The major adopt bilingual teaching.

1. Quality Requirements

(1)You must strictly follow the related national laws and regulations about information and Internet, with high cultural quality and civilized manner about network, and with the relevant integrity, information security and privacy literacy in cross-border e-commerce field.

(2)You should have good moral quality, humanistic quality, scientific literacy, professional accomplishment and networked communication capability.

(3)You should have good communication skills and team-work spirit.

2. Competency Requirements

(1) You should have the ability of dealing with network business activities by Internet thinking.

(2) You should have strong ability of business operation and market expanding.

(3) You should have excellent Chinese listening, reading, speaking and writing skills.

(4) You should have strong ability of analyzing big data in business.

(5) You should have the ability of cross-cultural management and communication in international business.

(6) You should have the ability of carrying out scientific research by creative thinking and the ability of innovation, creation and entrepreneurship based on multi-disciplinary knowledge.

3. Knowledge Requirements

(1) You should understand Chinese culture, politics, economy and history.

(2) You should have a firm grasp of basic theory and professional knowledge about modern management, network economy and information technology.

(3) You should master the basic theories and methods of electronic commerce. You should understand the related developments dynamics of cross-border e-commerce's emerging industries.

(4) You should be familiar with the relevant guideline, policy and laws about e-commerce and foreign trade, and be familiar with international laws, customs and standards.

(5) You should understand economic developments, customs and consumption convention in major countries and regions.

(6) You should master the relevant knowledge of e-commerce business management, emphasize technology innovation and grasp the innovation dynamics in business models.

III. Training Characteristic

The major will bring the superiority of education cooperation with Alibaba Group into full play. Aiming at the needs of network economy, we will cultivate applied and multi-disciplinary talents in cross-border e-commerce field and create our characteristics of talents cultivation orienting to industrial development, enterprises' overall participation, and complete innovation and enterprise education.

1. Orienting to industrial development

We will grasp and predict the industrial development dynamics in cross-border e-commerce timely. We will also know the enterprises' demand quantity and demand standard about talents. So we will make targeted training in order to promote district industrial development.

2. Enterprises' overall participation

We will fully rely on cooperation resources with Alibaba school-enterprises, which means that enterprises could participate in the various processes, including enrollment, formulating training program, course teaching, practical teaching and so on.

3. Complete innovation and enterprise education

We emphasize on the students' innovative spirit and entrepreneurship, which forms the practical teaching system of innovation and entrepreneurship running through four years.

V. Social Practicing and Scientific Research

1. The students should participate in the internship program and social practicing. Take part in one or more Cross-border E-commerce project planning, running and management;
2. The students should finish their thesis and pass the defense of thesis before graduation.

VI. Length of Schooling, Degree and Credits Requirements for Graduation

1.Length of Schooling:The length of schooling is flexible, generally it lasts four years. The students can graduate one year in advance or within six years
2.Degree Conferred: Bachelor Degree in Management;
3.The Graduation Credits:131
4.Pass HSK5 (new format) (score 180)

VII.The curriculum and distribution of credits

Curriculum: Teaching is divided into theoretical and practical teaching. Among them, the theoretical teaching is compulsory, and students may choose some elective courses from other departments, which is not compulsory.
