To enhance cooperation and collaboration among those whose research falls within the area of the study of drama in English, we have decided to revitalise HUSSDE, the Hungarian Society for the Study of Drama in English.

So far, we have created a simple website: https://hussde.wordpress.com/, together with a mailing list (hussde@googlegroups.com) to share relevant information with members - if you wish to join the group, simply send an e-mail directly to the mailing list.
Should you have any comments or suggestions concerning any aspect of the above, do not hesitate to contact us.

On the website ("Events"), you can also find the CfP for our next HUSSDE conference, to be held at Pázmány Péter Catholic University on 24-25 May, 2018, with a focus on "Dramatic Tradition, Nostalgia and Spectatorship". The deadline for the submission of proposals is 31 December, 2017.

We look forward to meeting you at the conference, and revitalising the study of English drama in Hungary.
