Honours Programme
The Institute of English and American Studies finds it of vital importance to encourage and help talented students. For this reason we have established The Honours Programme that aims to help and encourage talented students to achieve outstanding scholarly results in harmony with the level of their studies and also to foster finding their academic voice or appropriate place on the labour market. The Honours Programme includes a variety of opportunities to take part in:
- the Ruttkay Essay Prize;
- editing and/or writing short articles in EDZine, the English Department Magazine;
- award for the best thesis papers; and
- taking part in the one-year Talent Programmes.
Students can apply for most of these from their first year at our institute.
