Dr Andreas Mueller, senior lecturer at the University of Worcester and director of the Defoe Society, is visiting the Institute of English and American Studies between 18-22 November, 2013. He is joining our BA Introduction to Literature seminars on 20 November, Wednesday to talk about Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and on 21 November, Thursday, to discuss 18th century poetry and satires. He is giving a public lecture at 10.15 on 20 November, in Amb 220, on 'The Trouble with Literary History: Daniel Defoe the Poet' - All welcome - and bring your friends as well!
