The department eve was just great. This greatness is due to the efforts of Károly Pintér, who chaired the event, András Cser, Andrea Reményi and Tünde Dókus, who talked about the MA programmes of the Institute (Literature, Theoretical Linguistics, Digital Humanities, Teacher Training, Translation and Interpretation), Kinga Földváry, who read a fascinating paper about filmic adaptations of Shakespeare's plays, Gabriella Reuss, who announced the winner of the Ruttkay essay writing contest. Thanks go to student helpers who worked in the background to provide the ideal circumstances for the festive occasion. And last but not least, congratulations to Zsuzsanna Balázs (BA student), aka Dante, for being the winner of the Ruttkay contest this year, with her Imitatio Dantis: Yeats's Infernal Purgatory (to download the paper, click on the title)! (Last year's winning papers are available here.)
