Our Literature & Visuality (MA) class is to be hosting Bonita Rhoads (Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic) in November: she will be visiting Pázmány via Erasmus Staff Mobility and we will be honoured to have her for two talks.
First, she will deliver a public lecture on Dracula and the Secretary on Tuesday 12th November, 12.30--13.30 (venue t.b.a.).
In addition, she will hold a 50-minute lecture followed by a 40-minute discussion /talk /practice. The planned occasion is 14th November (Thursday, 10.00, Amb 205) and her planned title is 'Domesticity and the Visual Culture of Abolition: Running Slaves and Reading Women'.
