The poet Medbh McGuckian will visit Pázmány Péter Catholic University to give a reading on Thursday, April 18th, 4 p.m. in the Stephaneum 1 Lecture Theatre. Medbh's reading will be introduced by Dr. Borbála Faragó, current Marie Curie Research Fellow in Gender Studies at the Central European University (2012-13), and currently completing a book on the poetry of Medbh McGuckian for Bucknell Press. Contributions of cakes and drinks for a reception after the reading will be gratefully accepted.

The event is being organised by Dr. Michael McAteer in conjunction with KU Leuven as part of the European Federation of Associations and Centres of Irish Studies (EFACIS) Irish Itinerary, 2013.
