The 20th STaPs conference (Sprachwissenschaftliche Tagung für Promotionsstudierende – 'Linguistics Conference for Ph.D. students') was co-organized by a team of PhD students of three European universities: Pázmány Péter Catholic University, the University of Augsburg and the University of Vienna.
The event, which took place online from Friday, February 24th, to Sunday, February 26th of 2023, featured 74 presentations by presenters from 23 countries, including Austria, Australia, Belarus, Canada, China, Cyprus, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Malaysia, Morocco, Norway, Pavia, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, the UK and the USA. The rich three-day programme included two seminars and four workshops on a variety of linguistic topics.
