Először Urszula Idziak-Smoczyńska (Lengyelország) tart előadást Madness and Phenomenology címmel.

The critique of the Cartesian paradigm in contemporary French philosophy is linked with the notion of madness encountered during the famous night when Descartes established the firm ground of the cogito's certainty. The famous discussion between Foucault and Derrida about the status that is given by Descartes to madness is well-known but other Cartesian interpretations should be considered in order to question the nature of certainty. The proposed paper will in particular analyze the new phenomenological category of negative certitude introduced by Jean Luc Marion in one of his last books confronting it with the some heterodox reading of Descartes (Jean-Luc Nancy).
