Title of the lecture: The Enduring Relevance of Realism? A Theoretical Analysis of the Ukrainian-Russian Conflict
A year ago, protests began in Ukraine. The future of the country’s economy was at stake. President Yanukovych suspended talks with the European Union and signed a contract with Russia instead. After the demonstrations in Maidan Square, Yanukovych had to resigne. Professor Battistella’s presentation is dealing with the theoretical aspects of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict. He will talk about the antecedents, the current situation and the possible future outcomes.
