Last summer, there were two stock market panics in China, the exchange rates of the shares fell with 40 % within a few weeks. These Chinese events rocked the world's major stock exchanges as well. Many – mainly the Western press – envisioned the collapse of the Chinese economy and an outbreak of a new crisis. What really happened? Is this the end of the Chinese miracle?
