"Liberal interpretations of the concept of politics"

The lecture series "Key concepts in politics" aims to circumscribe some political concepts currently determining Hungarian and European politics, political thought and culture. We all know that these concepts can be abstruse, so the aim of the lectures is not to give persistent and fixed semantic definitions, but to use contemporary Hungarian and European context to comprehend the spirit of the age either in a descriptive or a normative aspect.

Our lecturer is Dr. Szabolcs Pogonyi, philosopher, political scientist, senior lecturer of the ELTE and CEU universities. His main research fields are political theory, political philosophy, and ethics.
