The presentation aims to provide a brief overview of relations between Latin America and East Asia, with an emphasis on Chinese-Latin American relations. In addition to political and economic developments, the lecturer will also mention cultural relations. The aim is to acquaint the audience with the main features of the foreign policies of some countries of Latin America towards East Asia. China's political and economic aspirations and the future development of relations will be also mentioned in the light of the latest developments.
The lecture will be followed by questions and discussion.
