'Key concepts in politics' is a series of public lectures, each one of which tackles a decisive concept of Hungarian and European politics, political thinking, and political culture. Since a primary and virtually immutable feature of political concepts is their vagueness, the aim of these lectures is not to provide definitions or determine precise semantic contents, but to grasp the 'spirit of our times' in a contemporary Hungarian and European context, either from a descriptive or normative aspect. Our first guest is professor András Lánczi, chair of the Political Science Institute of Corvinus University, chair of the Századvég Foundation.
