The aim of  the grant is to honor outstanding achievements in learning, scholarship, or public activiites. Applications are welcome from all undergraduate students with an active status, having completed two semesters at least. The same person may apply in every academic year, and can receive the grant several times.

The student receiving the excellence grant gets an excellence diploma and a one-time prize of 50.000 Ft. The grant is given to 1 student in Public Service training.

Applications should be deposited at the office of the Institute of International and Political Studies in the required form.

Applications are judged by a committee, preseded by the head of department, including all members of the department, as well as two students, chosen by lot from non-applying students.

The decision of the committee is declared by the head of department. The decision must also be published on the homepage of the department.
