The guest lecturer is Dr. Ágnes Birtalan, the head of the Department of Inner Asian Studies at Eötvös Loránd University.

The presentation examines the historical and cultural context of the relationship between China and the Mongolian peoples. The aim of the lecturer is to illustrate the ’mediator’ role of Mongolia between its 'two neighbors', Russia and China.
