Modern East Asia Research Group cordially invites you to its next lecture: Vietnam, In the Shadow of China
The aim of the presentation is to provide a brief overview of the developments in Vietnam, during the second half of the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century. At the event, our guest lecturer – former Hungarian ambassador to Vietnam – will discuss the political developments, economic and social dimensions of the country. He will also seek to answer the following question: How did Vietnam become one of the most developed country in Southeast Asia?
The lecture will be followed by questions and discussion.
