The event started with a salutatory by dean Rev. György Fodor. Dr. Mária Schmidt Government Commissioner of the Memorial Year of the 1956 Revolution and lecturer at the Department of Modern History gave the first speech. The following 15 lectures were divided into four panels based on their topics. The panels were presenting the Hungarian and international perspective and the outcome of the uprising.
