After a bumpy first year of FISH (French, Italian, SpanisH – Romance Languages and Cultures – Strategies of Communication and Culture Transfer in Central Europe) we will keep working: more student and teacher mobilities, workshops and summer universities. For the details check our website or ask your network coordinator.
The other network, called Confessional and Ethnic Interactions in the Habsburg Monarchy, is going to start operating in the next academic year. The aim of the newly-formed CEEPUS network is to shed light on the symbiosis between the various ethnic and religious minorities as well as their strategies of conflict resolution, which contributes to the strengthening of Central European identity. Our goal is to help future researchers, who are now PhD students or are in the final year of their MA studies, to familiarize with the partners' results and viewpoints in order to expand their knowledge.
The following Central-European universities will cooperate within the network
- Pázmány Péter Catholic University – Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
- University of Graz – Department of Early Modern and Modern History
- University of Vienna – Department of History
- Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca – Faculty of History and Philosophy
- Matej Bel Univeristy in Banská Bystrica – Department of History
