Rövid CV / Short bio:
Cser András 1996-ban diplomázott az Eötvös Loránd Tudományegyetemen angol, latin és elméleti nyelvészet szakokon. Doktori fokozatát 2002-ben szerezte elméleti nyelvészetből, szűkebb témája a történeti hangtan volt. 1994 óta tanít a PPKE BTK-n, de tanított vendégoktatóként több külföldi egyetemen is. Kutatási területei a fonológiaelmélet, a történeti nyelvészet, a latin fonológia és a nyelvtudomány története.
András Cser graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in 1996, majoring in English, Latin and theoretical linguistics. He obtained his doctorate in theoretical linguistics in 2002, with a narrower focus on historical phonology. He has been teaching at the Faculty of Humanities, PPCU, since 1994, but has also taught as a guest lecturer at several foreign universities. His research areas include phonological theory, historical linguistics, Latin phonology and the history of linguistics.
