PPCU Faculty of Humanities professor, Miklós Maróth received the newly founded Ibn Sina prize on November 13 2009, based on the verdict of the Hungarian Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

PPCU Faculty of Humanities professor, Miklós Maróth received the newly founded Ibn Sina prize on November 13 2009, based on the verdict of the Hungarian Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The prize was awarded to four Iranian scholars besides the Hungarian researcher as the only foreign laureate.

According to the official statement, Maróth was given the award to acknowledge his work in Arabic philosophy, particularly the philosophy of Ibn Sina.
