HVG, one of the most generally recognized Hungarian weeklies, published its special issue, "Diploma 2011". According to the data therein, PPCU's Faculty of Humanities stands high on the list.

The most important outcome of the survey is our 9th place out of the 167 total faculties in Hungary.

This is the first time a faculty of a non-governmental institution makes it to the absolute top 10. Although having deep historic roots, the Faculty of Humanities achieved this position as a very young institution, competing with university faculties that have hundreds of years of experience. All this is the result of the hard work and effort by our professors and students.

Moreover, the Faculty of Humanities stands in first place in social sciences among the 23 Hungarian institutions offering training in this field.

On the list of 14 faculties offering education in humanities, our institution finished 4th.

Our majors highest on the list are History (3rd out of 10, Liberal arts (3rd put of 9), German studies (4th out of 10).
